Four Products, Zero Revenue — So I Built an AI Co-Founder

After four products earned nothing, I built FounderPulse: an AI co-founder that gives founders one daily action and a number to hit.

Founder Pulse··6 min read·💻 Software

It was 11 p.m. on a Tuesday. I had 47 browser tabs open, a to-do list with 26 items on it, and no idea which one would actually move my business the next morning. I had been living that week on repeat for months.

I have shipped four products before this one. Together they made zero euros. The code was never the problem — I can build. The problem was that every morning I picked whichever task felt easiest, finished three days a week, and drifted through the other four.

So I built the thing I needed: FounderPulse, an AI co-founder that gives me exactly one action a day. Fair warning before you read on — this is my product. What follows is not a neutral review, it's the story of what I built, how it works and who it is wrong for. Judge it accordingly.

What It Actually Does (And Why It Isn't a Chatbot)

I never had a strategy problem. I had a "what do I actually do at 9 a.m. tomorrow" problem. So the co-founder reads my business context, isolates the single biggest blocker in front of me right now, and hands me one task I can finish today — with a real number attached to it. That's the whole idea, and it's why this isn't another chat window.

A generic assistant answers the question you ask it, then forgets. FounderPulse starts from your business file, picks one action, justifies it with a metric, then comes back the next day to check what it produced. It's the follow-up that changes your result, not the quality of the text.

That loop — plan, act, measure, adjust — is the whole product. It's exactly what most AI chat tools skip.

The 4-Step Engine Running Behind the Scenes

Every action FounderPulse gives you comes out of the same decision chain:

  1. Profiling — your stage, offer, blocker, available time and 90-day goal become your business file.
  2. Bottleneck diagnosis — the co-founder finds the single variable currently blocking growth, not the ten you could theoretically improve.
  3. One action — a task sized to the time you actually have, with the reasoning and the expected metric attached.
  4. Result loop — you log what really happened. The co-founder compares it to the target and adjusts tomorrow's action.

Here's what Day 3 might look like in practice: "Book 3 fifteen-minute calls with the 5 people who replied." Time budget: 25 of a maximum 30 minutes. Target: 3 confirmed slots. You log what actually happened — say, 3 calls booked — and the next morning's action is already waiting, built on what you just proved works.

I Publish My Raw Numbers, Even the Small Ones

On the homepage, instead of five-star testimonials, I publish raw counters pulled straight from the product database and recomputed on every page load: actions completed in the last 30 days, execution rate, founders active this week, longest streak. No editing, no flattering rounding, no bought reviews, no borrowed logos. Right now those numbers are small — I launched recently, and I would rather show you a small honest number than a big invented one. Come back next week and see whether they moved.

Who It's Wrong For

I would rather you skip this than sign up and churn, so here it is straight.

This is for you if:

  • You're solo or a two-person team, and nobody's telling you what to prioritize.
  • You have too many ideas and not enough finished days.
  • You want to track one real number — leads, calls, MRR — not vanity metrics.

Skip it if:

  • You want a 20-item to-do list to feel busy.
  • You want a chatbot to write your marketing copy for you.
  • You don't intend to execute anything between two sessions.
  • You want a mature product. This one is young: I am the person answering your emails, and there are rough edges.

Pricing — and the Code That's Only Live for 20 Founders

FounderPulse runs on three tiers, and the entry point costs nothing:

  • Essential — free forever, no card required. One full diagnostic, 3 daily plans a month, 3 co-founder sessions with 10 replies, and 1 tracked goal.
  • Pro — €19 a month, the most-used plan. 20 daily plans a month, 100 co-founder replies, analysis of your market, target and pricing, ready-to-send sales scripts, 2 tracked goals with a weekly strategy update, and one AI assistant connected.
  • Scale — €49 a month. Everything in Pro with unlimited usage, offer and funnel optimization, detailed competitive analysis, a 90-day roadmap, priority answers, unlimited connected assistants and a 30-day journal.

Both paid plans start with a 14-day trial and no credit card. And here's the part worth moving on: a launch code, LAUNCH50, currently takes 50% off the Scale plan for three months — capped at the first 20 founders who use it. Once those seats are gone, they're gone. I capped it at 20 on purpose: I want to talk to every single founder who uses it.

For context: one business-coaching session usually runs €150 to €300. This costs less than a weekly lunch and it follows up with you every single morning.

Quick Questions Before You Try It

Is there a free trial? Yes — 14 days on Pro with no credit card, plus a free-forever plan if you only want to test the method on your own project first.

I don't have any clients yet. Too early? That's the primary use case. The co-founder starts with your offer and your first 10 sales conversations, not a 12-month marketing plan you will never finish.

What about my data? Payments run through Stripe, hosting is in the EU, nothing is resold or used to train a model, and you can export or delete everything in one click.

Can I run it from Claude or ChatGPT? Yes. A connector lets your AI assistant read your daily action and your business context, then log the numbers you actually hit, through a personal token you can revoke at any time. It ships with the Pro and Scale plans.

Two Minutes, Six Questions, One Plan

The diagnostic is free, takes about two minutes and asks six questions. No sign-up, no credit card. You see your real bottleneck and your first action before you decide to pay for anything at all.

If you're the kind of founder who finishes three days a week and drifts through the other four, those two minutes are the cheapest experiment you'll run all month. Take the diagnostic and see what tomorrow's one action actually looks like. And if you try it and it doesn't work for you, tell me why: I read every message myself.
